I was surfing for fun, and ‘Only You’, by Ashanti popped into my head.
Now, Ashanti is a bit of a controversial figure for me. She is somewhat talented, but nothing like the extent that her camp claim she is. She has an average if rather weak voice, she is an OK dancer by today’s standards, and her songs are almost entirely composed of choruses (I think a well formed verse is like her arch nemesis or something). In addition, several friends of mine seethe to this day that they purchased her second album ‘Chapter 2′ aka ‘the worst album ever made’, a few years back… anyway enough fun making and procrastinatin’ here is the vid.
