Iron Man smashed it at the box-office this weekend [Website - TheLostGirl’s Blog].
The film that looked so lame this is the first time I have bothered to write about it has been a runaway success (gasp).
The film, starring ROBERT DOWNEY JR., has taken a massive $104 million this weekend.
This is the second highest grossing non-sequal after Spiderman , which made $114.8 million on the same weekend in 2002. Ain’t that a b*tch! They weren’t f*cking around with their scheduling of this film. They were tryin’-a do it real big… but if you are going to try to outdo Spiderman on its own weekend you betta bring somthin’!
But I digress…
Iron Man also killed it in worldwide sales of $201 million, the highest of lead, DOWNEY JR’s., career.

Iron Man was practically flawless as a super hero flick; its makers drop some pretty obvious sequel hints too… i’m thinking the next one should be equally great
