ZOMG! As you may know, word broke last week that father of LINDSAY & ALI – ex-con, MICHAEL LOHAN, may have fathered a third daughter out of wedlock. The first pictures of the (alleged) secret half-sister have just been released [Website - TheLostGirl’s Blog].

The newest member of the LOHAN clan, ASHLEY KAUFMANN (see near-left and below for images), has a mother who seems to rival DINA LOHAN herself, in the publicity seeking stakes.

Mother, KRISTI KAUFMANN, spoke to OK Magazine about this issue and even had the good grace to pretend she would have rather settled the matter behind closed doors:

“Many times I offered to do this privately so the other LOHAN kids wouldn’t be hurt,” KRISTI told OK!. “But MICHAEL would not live up to his obligations.”

KRISTI says she met LOHAN at dinner with a mutual friend in the 1980’s. Years later, the two met up again in 1994 and began an affair. “It went on for about 4 weeks,” she says. “He told me he was separated from DINA. He told me about LINDSAY’S Jell-O commercial. He took me to meet his parents. We were in love.”

Oddly, despite father, MICHAEL LOHAN’s, statements earlier this week – heavily implying that he was the father of 13-year-old mini KAUFMANN – he is now saying that he wants a paternity test to prove that ASHLEY KAUFMANN is really his daughter. He took the swab-test on Monday to determine paternity and said the following of the impending results:

“If the test is found to be negative, she’s gonna be sued for libel and defamation.”

What a charmer!
