Pharrell Williams has allegedly gotten a model pregnant (see image of girl in orange below); his rep has yet to confirm or deny the rumours [Website - TheLostGirl’s Blog].
According to sources, “Pharrell is extremely private and won’t release any details”, which to me translates as, “mind yo bidness biotches!”
Please excuse me for a second, while I scream and cry like a disillusioned 15-year old, as the man I was soooo supposed to have babies with, prepares to become a daddy.
The lead singer of N.E.R.D. and Neptunes producer has impregnated a model type he met with friends in Miami this year. The unidentified woman “is very pregnant and travels with him. She hangs out with the backstage crew when he performs,”

Nope, it’s NOT a rumor. The only thing the press got wrong is that she is a model. She’s just a young, average Thai & Dominician chick from Miami that does not work; just tours everywhere with him. I know friends of hers and she is definitely pregnant! Its weird the press is just now catching on.

Not definite on the exact month but I know she is in her third trimester. As for it being love? Well, it is now. P’s a softy and because she is carrying his kid- all the more for him to protect & love her. He’s been very supportive during the pregnancy and is excited to be a dad. Sorry girls but he’ll probably end up marrying her. We will see

The only real doubt I have with this story is the fact that the same exact thing was said in June of 07.So I’m wondering if one single blogger mistakenly resurrected this rumor and now everyone’s posting about it off of one simple mistake….

I don’t think it is a result of that same rumor. The stories are entirely different. And Pharrell immediately contacted the press to dispel the 07 rumor as quick as it came about. He really doesn’t like false rumors especially regarding a situation like this to be floating about. Plus many people have claimed to see this pregnant chick. Myself being one of them. But it definitely isn’t Vashtie they broke up in ‘06.

ana-yeah I saw her at a show backstage. she had quite a tummy on her, but later on she put a sweater on to cover up. I asked my friends if I was seeing things but they too said she looked pregnant (a friend of mine said she took a pic, but for some reason of bad luck she could not upload it). of course at the time I figured it could have been a girlfriend of someone else in the his crew. but she was hanging around him before the show and she was very close to him. and when this news broke out…I was like I knew it. As far as it being the girl in the orange…from my view she looked like that a bit. that is why I asked ladeda (because she seemed to be a little in the know)if that was her. she said yes, but again you never know, since youwisheduknew said it wasn’t her but then again they might not really be truthful either. so it’s I can’t honestly call it. but I can say she looked similar to that. but I do know the chick definitely appeared to be expecting. I don’t think Pharrell wants to say much about this because he is a very private guy and hates when folks are up in his business. he avoids the “girlfriend” question at all costs, though back in 2003-2004 he was all about finding his “yoko” and very vocal about it.

The story is not made up and the girl in the photo is not the mother to be. The woman’s name is Helen, she is a model from Miami. She’s very beautiful, not average at all. They have been dating for a while now and I believe they live together.

Has anyone noticed the small initial pendant on Pharrell’s necklace?

I’ve seen the girl backstage, she is slim and does look similar to the pic but I do think it is a different women, she had black curly hair very pretty and quite slim even though she was heavily pregnant. Whilst I was backstage I saw Pharrell signal her to get to a section of the backstage area where she won’t be seen, there were quite a few people there (not with the band/crew) and to be honest it was really obvious to me and others. Im very surprised it didn’t come out in the press earlier.
I’ve saw her in july, she looked like she was in the beginning stages of her third trimester. From what I saw, I predict the baby to be born late October/early Nov.
My theory is, he won’t announce the pregnancy or the babyma as it might effect his tour. As most of his fans are females, to confirm the news would not sit well with them or his tickets sales! Yeah yeah yeah, and we know he’s trying to be private(which I don’t really buy)!
I wish him happiness and her too especially, to be the other half of someone as famous and a liked as him will be very difficult. Lets all hope their relationship survives as we are not bad minded people.

PHARRELL is a wonderful guy. He’s the perfect guy for any of us-WOMEN!! We all can DREAM, but, it’s up to PHARRELL to CHOOSE!!! I have known Pharrell for awhile. He is very private, and he should be.

I was on a site http://www.imeen.com/theoneandonlypharrellwilliams. If this really is him and/or the info is current he said he is in a relationship.
Though I think if he is something may still be up with the relationship. I think someone else posted if the rumor is true why wouldn’t he admit it. I agree, even it was in a indirect way. I guess I wonder if he has a pregnant girlfriend wouldn’t it be uncomfortable for her to travel all over the place while he has been touring etc. If she’s at home she has to be super lonely considering he seems to be traveling everywhere and busier than ever.
Personally, I think that he might be in a relationship but the girl may not necessarily be pregnant. But if she is pregnant the relationship alone still may not be as serious for him as one might assume despite him looking forward to becoming a father.
Either way I wish him well, love his music and creativity and I think he’s very cool. I’m just adding my 2cents as I’ve found this blog to be interesting.

I’ve been visiting this blog for a while now, just reading everyone’s post, but I’ve never posted about anything. But after watching the youtube vids that ana posted up, I just had to.
In the SXSW vid, the girl that can be seen for a few seconds, I’ve seen her before. I went to Common/N.E.R.D’s show twice in September. I went to the 13th & the 14th show. Both nights I was right in front of the stage & the second night, I made it onto the stage. The first night, I saw the same girl from the vid standing backstage. Common’s layout of the stage made it so that you can see like the sides of the backstage area. She was wearing a halter dress & she did not look pregnant at all. The second night, after N.E.R.D’s perf, I made it backstage & the same chick was there. Once again, she did not look pregnant, but it did seem like she was close with Pharrell. So maybe it’s not the same chick? Cus The New York Post released it in July. I saw the girl in September.. That’s like a 2 month diff. On a side note, the second night, I got to keep Pharrell’s sweat towel (I know sounds gross, but I absolutely adore Pharrell)
But at the same time, I have thoughts behind my head that maybe Pharrell is going to be a dad cus remember when the news broke out that Vashtie was pregnant? Pharrell immediately came out to tell the press that she wasn’t. But with this one, he hasn’t done so yet
God, this is depressing. I was supposed to have Pharrell’s baby..
On the other hand, seems that there’s N.E.R.D fans here, so just thought that I would ask.. What’s up with Chad? He’s never at the N.E.R.D shows anymore..

Another thought….with regards to Pharrell confirming/deny this rumor. I recall from an interview or it may have been a clip on youtube that he said he wasn’t really going to do anymore press or perhaps keep it limited. I just wonder if this is why he hasn’t said anything about this rumor as well as I’ve read that he is a private person.
Therefore, maybe this rumor isn’t completely accurate but he just doesn’t feel like addressing it as he did last year with the same rumor.
I also thought from the youtube clips that the girl who is supposed to be the mother of Pharrell’s child – did not look pregnant. Although, she did appear slim and maybe her baby bump is just small. But its interesting that someone spotted her in person recently and thought the same. Though, others who have posted here said the opposite. Well, perhaps one day Pharrell will share the truth of the matter but if not I can respect his privacy. But it has been fun being a little nosy.
As for Chad… I don’t know that this is true …but I read online that he and Pharrell aren’t or won’t be working together as the Neptunes. But I really hope thats not true.

Anyways, N.E.R.D is seriously AMAZING live. This year alone I’ve seen them 6 times & every time they get better. I love the energy that Shae & Pharrell have while they’re performing. & it’s great that they get their fans on stage to share the energy with them! I’m hoping to see them at least one more time before the end of the year.. But looks like their fall tour is short.

P WIFEY: The rumor about Vashtie being pregnant was cleared by Pharrell in the summer of 2007. Vashtie & P ended it years ago. From what I know, Vashtie moved on & has a new man. This is P’s first baby.

I also feel pharrell doesn’t want to confirm not just because he wants to keep his private life private, he has alot of female fans.
But what I can’t understand is that he was seeing Vashtie on/off for years. Then he gets another girls pregnant after a few months and that doesn’t matter whether they have know each other for years. At the end off the day the truth and lies will continue to come out from people around him, it is better for him as a grown man to tell the truth than other people because he likes to keep a clean image.
What will his sponsors think!!

I don’t understand why P want admit that he will be a father soon. There is nothing to be ashamed of. He has only one baby mama as opposed to other rappers. He has ALWAYS talked about being a father. Its really weird to me.

I thought Vashtie was the one. I think with Pharrell he does want to eventually get married to the one, but it is hard for him to do that when women through themsleves at him everyday. He does appear to have a good heart, but from things I read on this post and N.E.R.D. forum Pharrell is an ass in relationships. Yeah I got tix to see N.E.R.D. perform this Friday too! Hopefully nothing comes up and I can make it. Cause that is where I saw Helen and her bump first. The whole thing is getting weird by the day. P has always wanted kids no big deal he is 35 years old he will probably say something after the tour as this is good publicity. His people are probably telling to go with it.
The last time I saw his at one of there concerts he was getting he asked his bodyguard to get some girls number (he likes them young). I saw another side to him!! A great father he will be if and when the truth comes out.
There has been more famous people the P so I don’t know how he could keep all this info from the press for so long, if true he must of paid the girl and her family to keep quite. But so called friends talk watch this space.

Hey, I think Pharrell may just be trying to keep his baby and girl safe from crazed fans and papparrazi right now, cause we all know how forceful the paps are with celebs. Plus some of Pharrell female fans are downright psycho. Some of them really think he is their man and might try to harm this girl while she is with him on tour. I don’t blame him for keeping it under wraps until he’s finished touring. I have no doubt he’ll tell his fan in a few months, but everyone is being so impatient. I can wait. Shoot, I waited a few years for another N.E.R.D cd, so a few months won’t hurt to find out if the rumors are true about a baby. Seems like its eating some of us alive inside to know. Marcia a friend of mine is a Star Trak label mate. They told me Pharrell is about to have a baby last month. I did hear about it on the internet before that, but my friend confirmed it. My friend knows Pharrell personally. I saw my friend and even hung out back stage when NERD came to my town to perform in concert. I won’t divulge anymore information I know other than that. Don’t know about how serious he and the girl is, all I know is there is a baby and that the girl was traveling with him while he was on tour. Sorry, you can go ahead beliving their is no baby, if it makes you feel better, but don’t act shocked when the truth comes out, because you were told, just chose not to believe it.

But whatevers, baby or not, I still love N.E.R.D & I still adore P. As long as he still does what he does, I’m okay.
On the other hand, I got to meet Pharrell & Shae on Friday night! I know someone that is an intern at ABC & they invite me to JKL often. I was allowed to just talk to them & take pictures, but no personal questions at all (which kind of made me think, maybe there is something going on). I did get to ask what they were going to do this weekend, P was flying back to Miami (back to baby Rocket perhaps?) It was AMAZING getting to hang out with them during the recording of the actual show. P is very down to earth & Shae, he’s veryyyy quiet. ANDDD THEY ROCKED THE STAGE TOO! It was a hell of a performance. I didn’t even know that I could jump that high during their lapdance performance AHAH & at the end of the whole recording, I overheard Jimmy saying that no other artist pulls people on to stage.. But there was some trouble. The security of JKL wasn’t happy with what P did.
Overall, Halloween 08 was a hell of a night. Meeting N.E.R.D (minus Chad) for the 2nd time. Seeing their 8th performance of this year.. I’m one happy girl.

As a life-long VA (757) resident and N.E.R.D/Shae/Chad/P/Clipse/Fam-lay/Anything VA supporter, I am happy for him and will continue to support him… “baby” or “no baby”. I’m neutrel on this topic, but I believe he hasn’t said anything because he doesn’t have to. He may be taking the stance of, “I’m not going to say what the truth is b/c the public will belive what they want anyway”. Many of the fans AND stalkers have been watching him closely, so I believe most could draw their own conclusion. And some of you chicks are crazy too. I went to get into my new apt a few weeks ago and chick told me P’s address and showed me the crib. I’m like, “Ok. Can I get my keys hoe? It’s cold out here” LOL.

As a life-long VA (757) resident and N.E.R.D/Shae/Chad/P/Clipse/Fam-lay/Anything VA supporter, I am happy for him and will continue to support him… “baby” or “no baby”. I’m neutrel on this topic, but I believe he hasn’t said anything because he doesn’t have to. He may be taking the stance of, “I’m not going to say what the truth is b/c the public will belive what they want anyway”. Many of the fans AND stalkers have been watching him closely, so I believe most could draw their own conclusion. And some of you chicks are crazy too. I went to get into my new apt a few weeks ago and chick told me P’s address and pointed to the crib across the water. I don’t know if it was because I was black and had on a old IceCream T or what, but I was like, “Ok. Can I get my keys hoe? It’s cold out here” LOL.
As a female fan, I guess the news could seem dismal, but trust me…we will live. Besides, if you wanted to be up on P or at least get on stage to get close, there is a formula…at least for the concerts. If you haven’t figured it out then you aren’t paying attention. LOL.

you know what I take that back, but I just feel that since we don’t know the deal with the touring and the baby, we can’t just write it off so simply like he doesn’t care about her or the baby. I feel he is touring because this is how NERD makes money and he still wants to provide for his family. I realize that he still makes money off his productions. but the music industry is going down. look what happened to dame dash. I’m sure he wants all bases covered. What you also have to remember is N*E*R*D does not just consist of Pharrell. Shae, Chad, their band and the supporting acts have families too.
I think he is being unselfish and considering their financial status’s too. His previous commitments towards them have to be forfilled thats why he’s still on tour.
Presuming the unexpectedness of the whole baby thing, contracts may have already been signed. I think he is trying very hard not to let everyone down and think about others and not just his happiness which I respect him for.
I’d just like to add Kanye F**KIN’ West needs to get a life!
I attended a concert of his last week in London only to hear him moan about how he can’t sell his house because of the worlds financial situation!

Yes, people who are quick to judge him for not being at home, really need to shut the hell up. They’ll look for any excuse to make the Helen seem like a pitiful person. I’ve seen men go back to work the next day after there baby is born. Whether I believe its good or not isn’t me to judge. Everybody’s situation is different. The most important person in a new born’s life immediately after birth is the mother. Its a bonus if the father is there, but for real, the child really won’t notice if he isn’t. The father being there is really more for the mother’s emotional support. If he’s there to help change diapers and such, then that makes the bond even stronger. But being away a few days or week won’t make or break the relationship, if its already been agreed and discussed. He probably calls her every minute he can when he is not performing. With webcams and stuff now of days he can even see the little tyke everyday. He may not be able to touch him, but there are so many forms of communication out there he really doesn’t have to miss out on as much as you folks act like he is in the first few days and weeks of the baby’s life. All newborns do anyway is eat and sleep alot during that time. In the real world, people have jobs and I commend him for holding up to his committments he made prior to the child’s birth. Unlike some artists, like Janet Jackson whose fans are talking big time smack about her cancelling a few shows. Pharrell’s a good guy. if you really knew him, you wouldn’t be making such negative comments. He always tries to do good by people. He is working hard at keeping everybody happy. There are not many people in the industry that are like that. That’s why I love him. Its sad that even at one of the happiest times in his life, people are trying to tear him down. Hateful, just hateful!

Went to the London concert with NERD last week Monday. It was great.Despite the pushing and shoving about…lol.. Sold out and everyone was hyped up.
Pharrell strolled onstage like if he was shy with Fam and Shay at is side.No Chad to be seen yet again.
It seemed that Pharrell was a tad upset because he just left the stage just like that with out good bye or thank you after the very last song.Everyone was waiting for them to return but nope he was gone.Not quite sure what that was all about.
Is it just me or has Pharrell gain some weight around his midrift? Why is he wearing these over size T-shirts? I don’t know but just wondered.
I remember seeing a pit full of girls having thier own section stage left.All pretty and may have been groupies but not sure I am no expert at this at all so exscue me. Fam choose one from the pit and she walked on stage as if she was some sort of wannabe “victoria secret model!”.I burts out laughing because when I saw she didn’t know any of the lines to NERD song “All the girls stanidng in the line for the bathroom” and ten not really doing anything aprt from twirling herself around Fam….ahh man..
Yup, the regurlas females who have that fix formula to get on stage get choosen.They don’t scream or fight to get his attention they just stand there front row or a few rows behind and P points at them.It’s wierd because you would think the ones that really want to be up there scream and do anything to get his attention but nope the quiet ones get spotted straight away. I saw my chance to get on stage but my close friend wasn’t feeling very confident at this concert( it was her first time) so I had to kinda watch out for her and in the mean time watch my chance go by..grrr..

Was on stage though a few month ago and one of the regulars who is totally obessed with Pharrell tours where ever they are.Crazy really but hey.
She knew it was my 1st time to the NERD concert.Met her briefly outside befor eth concert started.Serioulsy the Seeing Sounds to Fly or Die to Search off songs live…wow..just crazy fun high energy totally dance till my feet weren’t able to carry me anymore.
Anyway,after being escorted backstage with all the choosen ones by Pharrell and co (in my case just by pure luck..pure luck no lies to that.).She glance’s around to me and belted to me ” how did you get on stage or you got on stage?” something along the lines to that…
I felt like I envaded her territory or something.
I still don’t understand why she made such a big deal out of it.She seemed pretty pissed about it.

fay I am sure it differs on each event, but one show I went to Pharrell and Shae did get the girls that looked like they were true fans. But I admit at other events it seemed like whoever was wearing the most revealing outfit and had alot of make-up on got on stage the earliest. Some girls just jump up. It’s really fun though. I’m glad that N.E.R.D is interactive with the fans and want us to really experience the moment.

From the 8 N.E.R.D shows I’ve gone this year, only 1 had pre-picked girls. That show had a VIP section & all the girls that got up on stage were in VIP. For the other shows, Pharrell & Shae picked people that seemed like true fans rather than groupies (same goes for picking guys). Or other times, P just tells all the girls to get up on stage saying that there’s not enough security to stop them, but that causes CHAOS.
I got to get up on stage twice so far. Once at the Common/N.E.R.D show (when they asked everyone to get up, I just had some of my guy friends to like basically throw me over the fence & one of P’s security guys helped me get onto the stage) & just recently during the Jimmy Kimmel performance, P pointed at ME! Well at least I think he did? Either way, security helped me get on stage
I love how N.E.R.D does this.. like idontknow said, they want to share the performance with us. N.E.R.D are true performers. LOVE EM!

If this is true, why haven’t any of the major celeb magazines picked up on this yet? People, US Weekly, Star….No one has mentioned anything about it. NOTHING… Isn’t that a tad bit odd? Not even TMZ has anything on him having a baby! TM-freakin Z! I mean c’mon! Something’s not right. You mean to tell me NO ONE is digging? It’s so weird. I mean Pharrell’s pretty famous you know? He may not be like Brad Pitt in terms of fame, but people KNOW him. They got some random article of him dancing at some Jewish wedding, but they don’t have anything him having a kid!? WTF? The wording doesn’t necessarily imply that the women in question actually had the children or even that it happened more than once (as BIs are tricky like that). In a snarky way, it is saying that women looking for a quick payday can certainly get one because someone actually did from a particular superstar.

I’ve been reading this thread for a while and here’s my take on the whole thing (it’s kind of lengthy):
Plenty of celebs are able to maintain some privacy especially regarding their children while 1) acknowledging that they even have children, 2) not being annoyingly coy about it like he was in that
video.
As for her becoming his future wife: sure, because the world of hip hop is rife with examples of rappers staying with and remaining faithful to their baby mamas. I shouldn’t even take hip hop to task like that, furthering stereotypes.

Having a baby doesn’t keep (or bring) two people together beyond being present in the child’s life — if even that.
The original news item wasn’t incorrect — they never said she was a model, it said “model-type” which really means nothing other than the source thought she was pretty and could be a “model” or possibly a video girl. (sean seems to think otherwise!) So I’m going to believe that they were also correct about them only having met this year.
If they have known each other longer and they were actually having a relationship (i.e., she wasn’t just some side chick), I’d say it looks even more dire as he certainly wasn’t repping her as his girl in all that time. Unless she really wants to keep her identity secret which I just don’t buy.
As if having a child with someone you barely know isn’t ridiculous enough (these things do happen and no one is saying that one can’t be happy about it regardless because ‘babies are a blessing’ blahblahblah — but more times than not, if one party is rich & famous and the other isn’t, someone is after your stacks.), if he married someone he knew for less than a year — baby or not, prenup or not — I’d honestly think that he’s a lot stupider than I ever thought he could be.

re: getting girls on tour — One concert review said as much. When the interviewer met him backstage, he was asking his friend to track down some of the girls who were dancing on stage. I’m sure he just wanted to know if they wanted autographs…
So I don’t really get these “Happily ever after. End of discussion.” posts. Unless you know something that most others don’t, I can’t see why you’re trying to dismiss the expected speculation — not all of it is going to be nice. There’s wanting to keep things private and then there’s suspiciously weird.
For all we know, he could have planned to get a woman — any woman — pregnant because he’s forever been talking about becoming a parent. Pay her off to keep quiet and he gets a kid. A tidy business transaction.
Perhaps he has genuinely and rather quickly fallen in love, ready to settle down with The One (even if she only became so after getting pregnant), and is just protecting her from inquiring minds, but all things given I don’t think anyone can sell me on that one. I’d have to see it to believe it, so to speak.
Either way, the whole situation is mad shady!

Except I’m not even sure anymore that he is different from other rappers or if that’s just what he wants everyone to believe. Like most celebs, he is maintaining a certain image — that of an introspective, intelligent and unique nerd in an industry of womanizing, materialistic show-offs. I believe that he is in part all of those things because you can’t fake a persona 24/7. But on the flipside, he’s always insisted that he isn’t a lothario, isn’t cocky/arrogant, that he is “extremely private” yet time and time again he has shown to be the opposite. He’s human, so I can’t fault him for that but it doesn’t mean that I have to buy it hook, line and sinker.
(The very cynical part of me thinks that his camp is actually responsible for releasing all these tidbits, so that they could break the news and spin the story to their liking that way he doesn’t look like a damn fool who got took. It’s also a way to keep his name out there, create a bit of buzz — I mean, the album is being re-released and they’re still touring throughout the beginning of 2009. Why else would the baby’s name be posted on some random foreign news site? How convenient that he was overheard bragging at a club when he’s supposedly wants to keep it under wraps. He probably asked Swizz Beats to give that shout-out, so he wouldn’t have to formally announce it himself. Except the item didn’t get very much mileage. This is the only site that seems to be having an active discussion about it and as mentioned not even TMZ has picked it up. Yet they ran the false rumour re: Vashtie a couple of years ago.)

IDK, the video is over two years old. The quality isn’t that great, so it’s difficult to tell if it’s the same girl as the other vids.

B) Want some sort of financial security,
C) By having a child of his they feel some what safe.

So Pharrell made a mistake – he is only human. We all know that he will take great care of this woman and their child. I think he is keeping it private for that reason exactly – he made a mistake. We all know he wanted to bemarried and then have children – he is 35. And unlike a lot of men in the industry this is his first and will be his only child out of wedlock. Trust he will not make this mistake twice look at pics of him during this tour and the pregnancy over the last year, the man was stressed it was written all over his face that this was not something he planned for. Oh by the way to those who don’t know he is not living with the mother of his child they are parents to Rocket and that is it. SHE IS NOT THE ONE. And she is fine with the situation as it is – she knew she wasn’t the one from the start. Its actually quite simple ladies and gentleman – everyone can say they are content with a situation and play the part all the while plotting their next chess move – please believe she is a genius she achieved what many before have attempted and failed miserably. Like a vast majority of women who have a child with a man of course they want to marry the father of their child regardless of what they go through. She is no different than anyone else – of course she wants to marry him but in the meanwhile she is fine with playing the role of “parents” and “friends”. Honestly people is this so unheard of? thanks for the explanation violette, I agree with alia on this. I still don’t see how Pharrell allowed this to happen. We all know that pregnancy can be prevented. This seems to be a misstep on his part. Unless he at some part felt Helen was “the One”. Because I have heard in previous encounters with past relations, Pharrell is a condom freak. He makes very sure about in order to prevent situations like this. Why not with Helen? How did she slip through the cracks, if she was never to be “the one”? Doesn’t add up to me.

This is a thread about P’s baby situation, not “I’m a NERD fan regardless of their personal lives so let’s keep discussing it but pretend we’re above doing so”. Of course it’s all speculation, though some are claiming fact (which, tbh, I think may be out denial in some respect).
I know some think the sun shines out of his ass, but he’s not above reproach. Being a fan does not preclude me from exercising some analytical thinking or expressing disappointment that someone who seemed to actively avoid becoming a stereotype (as far the fam situation is concerned) will inevitably have circumstances befall him not unlike those of TI or 50 Cent because he let his desire to father a child circumvent his better judgement. Or that such judgement didn’t exist and he had an oops! that wasn’t dealt with (even if I hadn’t read otherwise, I wouldn’t actually believe that a promiscuous 35-year-old man never got someone pregant before — birth control and condoms are not 100%). I say ‘inevitably’ because if he didn’t put a ring on it to begin with, a baby isn’t going to make it happen.
I never understand the tsk-tsking of gossip that one is both reading and partaking in. One should probably be relieved that this isn’t getting the attention of the more populous sites where several celebs have been sliced and diced for bringing kids into their precarious shack-up situations.

I wouldn’t believe so either. This isn’t the first time I hear. I remember awhile ago, I was a member of a now defunct forum. Somebody on there knew P back before he was who he is now. They remembered him from their college days at Hampton University. He was seeing a roommate of theirs. He was really into this girl. (I’m not sure if it was Janelle). But this person claims that the girl got pregnant by Pharrell. But without notifying him or telling him about it, she chose to get an abortion. When Pharrell found out about it, he was devastated. Someone said this happened with Kelis as well. Not sure about that (but congrats to her and Nas on expecting their own bundle of joy). But yeah something tells me if that story is true then maybe that’s why Pharrell wanted Helen to have the baby, regardless if she was “the one” or not. I’m sure he didn’t want to necessarily have it that way, but with his promiscuous behavior something was gonna catch up with him. Again this is only my speculation, but I felt that that tid bit may explain some things.

I have read some things (not interviews) that would make me think there is no way that he would actually *plan* to have a baby with a woman that he wasn’t married to (let alone hasn’t been with long-term), but people do change. Maybe he felt that his biological clock was ticking and while he always talked about finding the One, I doubt he was searching all that thoroughly or selectively. Someone upthread quite correctly mentioned that if you’re surrounded by groupies and hangers-on all day, you’re probably not going to land that woman with her own success and good head on her shoulders. But to each their own.

Well, you know, I am a VERY VERY VERY big fan of Pharrell and has been following his music since he first started producing for SWV. I think I was about 14 or 15.
You know Pharrell doesn’t want to talk about his relationship because he is embarrassed about what happened with his ex- music producer Vashtie Kola. She basically played him and used him for exposure. A lot of entertainers in the inner circle said she was circulating pictures via myspace and on the web of the two of them to help boost her carreer as a music producer and director.
The two songs “angel” and “I really like you girl” was about Vashtie. He admitted that in an interview he did overseas. He is kind of embarrassed it didn’t work out cause he use to brag to everybody about how he thought she was the one and stuff. I can understand why he wants to keep it quiet for sure.
Also, pharrell use to date Kelis heavily. Well there was a rumor that Kelis had two abortions with his kids because he was really comitted to her. Pharrell has never been the one to be faithful either. Those are a lot assumptions. P’s not stupid, although he does seem like the type to be lovestruck. He was with her long enough to know if something was up. I’ve heard many more good things about Vashtie than bad, tbh. Not that a “nice” person can’t have “bad” intentions, but as you even said he cheated on her. Reap what you sow. If you make a fool of somebody else (cheating), you can expect to have the same done to you (rejection).
The one part of your post that I do agree with is the point about him being embarrassed, but for the reasons stated by others (that she wouldn’t put up with his crap and didn’t want to be with him anymore).
Also, half of the stuff you’re stating are just rumours. Even some of the Kelis stuff. When rumours get repeated often enough they start sounding like truth and no one ever goes back to see if they were true to begin with.

Hello Ladies and Gentleman –
I just thought I should fill you in on a little second hand information I recieved over the weekend in regards to our favorite man Pharrell – Okay so someone very close to me has been in the studio with Pharrell usually I am allowed to tag along but over the past month all the Pharrell sessions have been “closed” and “strictly” for the artist, engineers and etc. My friend says studio time with Pharrell is tight and there is no slack time its all work – Pharrell is keeping a tight and hectic studio schedule and its hard to book time with him – which is usually the case but for some reason now its somehow different – I’m like Damn! I really want to go – So anyways I always try to get as much info as possible which usually yields nothing – well not any longer – here’s the scoop. Pharrell is very much in love with someone and marriage is on his mind according to my friend. I prodded with a few more questions in regards to who this lady is knowing its not the mother of his child and I really want to know who this lady is – I was told it is someone that he has known for a “very, very, very” long while and they have not taken their relationship to the next level as of yet but they will in the very near future – I was told she is not a celebrity. I asked my friend if he had met or seen the young lady and he said that he had not met her. I beleieve the young lady lives in Virginia….since he has known her for a “very” long time. So Pharrell is very much single for now but not for long.
And ladies Pharrell is not a “cheat” he has never been a “cheat” nor a “liar” he has always been very honest with every lady he has been involved with – I have never heard any of those women state otherwise, nor friends of mine that know him. Everytime I see him I am amazed by his generosity, how down to earth he is and his overall being. And most of all his sincerity. I have not been in a relationship with Pharrell but in my opinion those who have should consider themselves lucky – I have seen nothing but positivity from this man and whenever I inquire I have been told nothing but positive things.

i think pharrel is just probably lovestruck again, it happened to him a few times, he was madly in love but things never came to marriage, i dont see how this could be any different. if he really loved that girl, has known her for a long time n was going to marry her then he wouldnt have gotten some other chic pregnant considering the baby story happened recently NOT long time ago. also, there r 2 contradicting stories we have so far, pellegrino recently stated that she found out from a crew member that pharrel was going to marry the baby mama, now we have violette saying that she knows from her friend who was in his studio that he’s marrying some other person. its all hearsay, probably nobody at all, even those in his circle, know who he’s gonna marry if he’s goin to at all, only pharrel does, he likes to keep things to himself after all!

It’s actually quite simple – Remember this is second hand information that was told to me so I am told the conversation was about family, and Pharrell made it very clear to my friend that there was someone that he was crazy about and he was excited about the two of them being together since they have been friends for so long and that when the time was right he and this young lady were going to take things to the next level whwen the time is right. Why they are waiting ? I have no idea, beleieve me I am working on it. – so as of now he is single. Everyone that is somewhat close to Pharrell knows that he and Helen are friends – friends that had a child, friends that respect and love one another but they are not in love and he is not going to marry someone that he cares for he will ony marry the one that he is “in love” with – now the reason I say he is going to marry this other is because my friend asked him a direct question and Pharrell got a huge smile on his face and started laughing – so we’ll see. I may be wrong remember the studio sessions are “closed” so I am unable to go with my friend like I used to – so all my info is second hand – sorry ladies and gents.

Had an interesting conversation with my friend that is about to go back in the studio with Pharrell – I asked why the studio sessions were closed and he said he could not really give me an answer as to why that they just were…because I am me, I kept on prodding at him and his exact words were that Pharrell wants to “attend to his family” and is working hard to take some time off to relax….and that he wants everyone to be focused when they are in the studio its strictly business. That is certainly understandable…so I don’t think I will have any inseider information anytime soon ya’ll. sorry.
@Alia I was asking “my friend” if “he” (my friend) had met the young lady that Pharrell is supposed to be crazy for and he said that he (my friend) had not met her. This is a good friend of Pharrells someone that he has known for quite some time. I think she is one of his Virginia friends from back in the day because my friend says that Pharrell is very excited about taking it to the next level with her.
In my humble opinion ladies Pharrell is a live in the moment kind of guy – it got him to where he is today….so I assume that is how he lives his life and that is how he dictates where his heart takes him. Good luck to him and his love life.

I catch your drift now, you seem pretty certain that the baby mama is just a friend and since P is pretty good at keeping secrets, another woman (the potential wife-to-be) sounds entirely possible. (Although, I’m not sure how exactly she would feel that he just had a child with someone else. Well, that never stopped Gisele & Tom Brady!)
However, I still have some doubts. Are you certain that this woman he was gushing over isn’t the baby mama? TBH, what you say about her makes a lot of sense and sounds both likely & believable. It would also go a long way in explaining him keeping all of this under wraps.

Hello, everyone. Just to clear up the rumors THERE IS NO BABY. Swizz was making fun of Pharrell during the Angie interview, which is why Angie never responded. Pharrell shouted Rocket at the concert to prove that those people in the audience would cheer for just about anything hence the whole “these people don’t know what I’m talking about” comment. If there was a baby there would be more talk about this baby going around in the media and it would not be just a internet rumor.

I am past the denial stage. I mean he was asked in an interview about it. (I posted the link) and said his wants his personal life to remain private. Had it been a rumor I doubt he would say that especially after all the hype has pretty much died down. He denied the tattoo removal rumor. So I don’t think he would just play along on something that never quite stirred up much press in the first place. Plus many folks saw the girl with quite a baby bump. He wants his private life private. That the way he is. And it is understandable.

Just because he didn’t directly answer the question doesn’t mean that automatically means he’s going to have a baby or has already had a baby. I could care less either way especially considering I am happily married myself but some people do not want to talk about their personal life. He’s not the first celeb who intially talked about his personal life then decided not to for whatever reason.

Well for starters, consider the source and look how this whole thing started. The New York Post, a paper that is notorious for writing lies about celebs. They’re almost on the same level as the National Enquirer and probably have the same amount of legetimacy.
A “source” told the NY Post about the alleged pregnancy. Most legitmate unidentified sources could find a bigger payday leaking information like this to a bigger media source (US Weekly, Life & Style, etc.) than the NY Post. Yet there have been nothing in these magazines that I have seen. Pharrell has had features in several of these magazines so its not as if he is not considered to be a somewhat celeb. Second Pharrell did not contact the press to deny the Vashtie pregnancy rumor on TMZ despite what people say on here. Once again, a “source” did. Why wouldn’t this source contact TMZ to talk about the most current pregnancy?
Next, Angie Martinez is an extremely nosey DJ so if she didn’t think Swizz was joking about the Rocket thing, I have a hard time believing that she wouldn’t have pursued the matter further. Swizz is a character and is notorious for pratical jokes.
I’m not saying that I know for sure whether or not the pregnancy rumor is true. It could very well be true. I don’t think it is. I think this is just having a trickling affect where people are just building onto a small rumor and making it out to be much bigger than it actually is.

At first I had no idea he had a baby, but I was at one of his appearances and his best friend was there. He had no problem spilling the beans that Pharrell had just became a father. This was in November and the source was his best friend. I asked him what the baby’s name was and he said the baby’s name was Rocket. I realized that he was not bullshittin by his face…after that I picked my jaw up off the floor lol!. So yes, it is a fact that “P” has a baby, and YES Pharrell is FINE as hell.

And Pharrell did an interview on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show out in LA denying the baby with Vashite. I heard it with my own ears. As for the Angie Martinez thing I am pretty sure either she didn’t hear Swizz or understand what he meant. I mean the baby’s name is Rocket. not many would think that’s a name for a child. Again many have seen that girl with a bump too. So I feel there is something.
Again you don’t have believe it. The whole thing is sketchy because of lack of much info, but that can be because of the privacy issue. I feel it is.

I stopped caring whether P has a kid or not cus it doesn’t really matter anymore, but the only thing that bugs me is that after this news broke out, P’s look has changed. He just doesn’t look the same anymore, which is saddening. Maybe it’s cus of the baby, or maybe it’s cus he’s just getting old (Baby turned 36 yesterday!), but I don’t like it

I’ve been following this thread off and on just see the updated information. I’m on twitter and a couple of days someone out of the clipse camp posted that he saw Pharrell’s son for the first time…but then he followed up with… “Hahahaha Pharrell wit a son would be funny tho”! That’s the quote I could pull up via twitter search. I thought he just didn’t want to put P on blast but he could’ve have just deleted the first update. It just seems like an ongoing joke I guess to keep this thread going, lmao! Seems to be the only site that is talking about it. So I wanted to share that info.

I heard that P’s been switching his ring around from his right hand (the Asscher cut) to his left? Esp when he had his sling on? This is just something I heard from a friend that saw N.E.R.D perform over at St. Johns not to long ago.

Hello there Ladies and Gentlemen!
Just checking in with a minor update on our favorite Mr. Pharrell Williams. Okay so here is the scoop: A few weeks ago a friend of mine went to a N.e.r.d show and since she and Pharrell are acquaintances I made her swear to me that she would find out what his status is – whether he was now “involved” with the friend from VA. (see my previous post) or if he was single. Well she went and she said she was too scared / she was too intimidated to ask then she finally got the nerve all she was able to squeak out at the end was “are you single?” and she said he told her was “single and happy”. I was fine with this information until the Media Takeout story came out – Everyone Nose maediatakeout is BS! Regardless I called my good friend (refer to my previous post) and did some digging when he and I went to dinner (face to face was key for me) I asked him about the ring and he COMPLETELY confirmed that there is a ring being “built” – so I’m confused why an engagement ring without a friend to become a fiancee???? he would not answer me or help me in any way. So I think he and the Virginia friend ( his friend I assume) are keeping their relationship under wraps, why? I am not sure – but believe me I am going to keep digging this case is not closed. I feel like I have to know. My friend is pretty tight lipped about the situation getting information from him on the ring was like pulling teeth – my friend kept saying that he had already revealed and said too much – when all he did was confirm. I will get more information from him when he gets home. I am on the case!!!! All I have to say is Ms. Virginia (his very good friend from a long time ago) you are a lucky! lucky! lady!

Hello All! I am back with a quick update – I told ya’ll I was serious!
So last night I was able to get a little more information from my friend (refer to previous post)I asked him flat out if the “ring” being built is for Pharrells really really good friend from a long long time ago (I call her Ms. Virginia) he seems to think that it is quite comical the way I am all in Mr. Williams business he just keeps laughing at me and telling me that all I have to do is put all the pieces together with all the information that he has given me and I will have my answer – So he FINALLY lets me know in his own way that the ring is for Ms. Virginia so I ask him why does Pharrell say he has no friend? and my friend says ” he doesn’t have a friend” so I am like – ” an engagement ring without anyone with the title of friend to make a fiancee makes no sense whatsoever” he just says to me “Pharrell has no friend” with this crazy MISCHIEVIOUS smile on his face – so Im like that is obviously a discussion at this time so he aks me why I keep calling her Ms. Virginia? And I’m like “…..cause that is where she is from or currently lives…right?” he just laughs another mischevious laugh. So basically ladies and gents I have a lot of work ahead of me. Ms. Virginia may not be Ms. Virginia

I have been talking with my friend a lot lately and since its the holiday weekend I felt it was a good time to bring up Pharrell again since I knew he would be drinking and partying it up – perhaps I might get some “loose lips” insider information. So I started in on him by asking him if the “ring” being constructed was an “engagement” ring for marriage? I knew the answer but I just wanted to be given a direct answer – my friend says “hell yeah!” and he’s looking at me like am I crazy or something – perfect answer so I say “why would he purchase an engagement ring without having a friend?” He says “You just not gone quit are you?” and laughs, I am laughing too.. “It’s just weird – I don’t understand he’s supposed to be single and has no FRIEND but he’s buying an engagement ring??” He tells me that all my questions will be answered shortly in the music. What?? The music here he goes with the “gimmicks and games”. So once again this conversation comes to a close – he tells me that the new N.E.R.D CD will be out soon they are hoping before the end of summer. Yeah!!!!

Yes, my friend has been in the studio with Pharrell but he is not a member of N.E.R.D he is definately friends with all of the guys. He has a ton of information and could easily answer any and all of our questions but he is being very stingy and tight lipped with the entire situation. He will not answer anymore questions in regards to Ms. Virginia he quickly changes the subject or sings some song about already revealing too much as it is (I disagree). One thing is for sure and that is Pharrell is all about Ms. Virginia and because he has known her for so long he is confident enough to build a ring. I asked my friend if she was black, white, latina, asian? He refused to tell me. I think for sure she is from Virginia and he was trying to throw me off by asking why I was referring to her as “Ms. Virginia”.

As far as the babymama I have no information on her outside of simple facts about her major lifestyle change – basically I now know and understand why a lot of women make their career gold digging/ and targeting a wealthy baby daddy instead of going to school and getting jobs like the rest of us. (kidding I do not condone getting knocked up for cash). All I know is Pharrell is a very involved father who loves his child.

Sea- I’ve been thinking something similar. Please excuse the conspiracy theory but perhaps Pharrell’s camp are feeding info to find out who can be trusted and who can’t.
Also, I’ve been following this thread on and off for nearly a year now (note to self: Must find new crush; perhaps Travis McCoy) and I find it hard to believe none of his peeps have come across this blog.
This is just my opinion but how can Pharrell be a ‘good’ dad and no major press notice. I mean he’d have to do all his visiting indoors (which would be quite a fete given that NERD have been on tour so much). To keep this secret would mean not taking his child to the park, playing on the beach, taking him to sports games (although he’s not old enough for that yet); just general day to day activities that parents and children do. Am I the only one thinking this?
Maybe he does have a child but keeping this so under wraps almost certainly means his son doesn’t get enough time from him. This is much more important than all the money he can provide.
He doesn’t need to be taking him to premieres but the day to day stuff surely!!

well, firstly i doubt it that pharrell or someone from his crew would be paying a great deal of attention to content on multiple forums online, n even if they were, it doesnt necessarily mean that whatever is written on the forum is what most fans think of pharrell thus causing pharrel to be feeding information to forum readers that suits him. it is apparently invalid conspiracy theory, im sure they have more important things to do than seek out who they can trust or not by checking on some kind of a forum. that is not to say that im confident that pharrell has had a baby, maybe he didnt, since there is no proof but i think u girls went too far in ur allegations.

I think the only thing Pharrell does is work, work, work, he is always in the studio or on the road. For us fans this is a good thing. But that is also a reason why he never really settled down, untill now.

From your second posting I am pretty sure that you are fully aware of your friends situation first hand, you are completely in the know that she and Pharrell are friends that share a child that they both love with all of their hearts – As far as their relationship goes you for sure know more than I – All of my information is “second” hand you are dealing with one of the sources. So you can fill us all in on that – please….everything I know is pretty much “known” in regards to their “status”.

You filled in so many puzzle pieces for me and my friend who used to mess around with him until about 2 years ago they would talk and see each other from time to time. It was crazy she says once the baby rumors got started she can barely get more than a text. We knew they weren’t together and that he was on tour but everything you said made it all make sense. When my friend and him were hanging out she said he was always truthful with her and was such a good guy the whole time. Its not like him to be secretive about his child planned or not, its for all of their privacy and other reasons (lol) we feel like he is protecting his image and that he should do that he is really going hard with his career right now they have been on tour for over a year! She told me that he said he is all about his money matters right now. Okay so when I orginally found this blog it was based on hearing the rumors that Mr. Williams was going to be a daddy – Every I know that heard the rumor, we all felt the same way…First, upset that it wasn’t us carrying his child and second to say disappointed is not fair to Mr. Williams because he is a human being but me and my s held such high hopes for him because he is so different from all of the rest of the guys in the music industry, in our humble opinion. Having a few friends in common with Mr. Williams I chose to be nosey and investigate to find out about the “lucky” – who was she? were they getting married? questions like this we wanted answered. The thought of him marrying a because they were having a baby seemed so not Mr. Williams. All I ever heard people we share in common speak about was how “picky” he was and wanted to be married and start a family. So I knew right away this was suspicious. Everything that I have shared with my fellow lost s is information that is known to everyone they know – I am not privy to any information that only I have been told, only common knowledge that has been shared. It is not unusual in this day and age for people to have children out of wedlock and raise them to be healthy, happy products of society….It may not be what some may consider “ideal” but it happens. I in no way wanted to “upset” any friends or family members by simply stating the obvious, and what I was told. The last thing I was told by my “insider” was that Mr. Williams is currently “single” and that has been his status for awhile. I know he is really busy touring and in the studio, and he has never let up. He can tour forever as far as I am concerned I love N.E.R.D! He would never “hide” his child – the only reason the paprazzi doesn’t have a pic of the child is because Mr. Williams has been working this whole time, he hasn’t had any down time to shop and hit the beach WITH his CHILD but it’s coming real soon.

We always felt like this was him for obvious reasons the timing, the description of the guy, the secrecy or privacy however you choose to view it. this blind item would explain everything. It’s not a big deal it happens ALL of the time, people extort and blackmail celebrities. I just hope that he was not blindsided by her actions because knowing him he probably really liked her and that’s why he was having unprotected sex with the chick. I know that would really hurt him having a girl choose his money over him. It sounds like what happened to him and why he is always on the road letting out all his rage .LOL.and not with that chick if this is how she did him. Everything you said is how we all felt that he would be with some lucky chick and they would have a family, not getting caught up in a situation and then trying to make it work not P.W.! He is just such a nice guy, I feel like my friend is lucky that she even was seeing this guy at one time, and she agrees.

I don’t think that Blind Item was about P. We already had a sighting of the girl when she was pregnant. (I think ) . (See the one where he’s imitating Buster Rhymes video ) So if she extorted him for money why would he bring her on tour ?!
I just wanna see a piture of the baby. I bet, he’s the cutest little thing.

the blind item!!!!!
I have never seen that before, I don’t want to say too much because I don’t need the Dog Pound chasing me down any harder than they already are (lol). A few of the things mentioned in the blind item sound familiar, really, really close to things I have had mentioned to me by various peeps. The manipulative parasite is interestingly familiar and the blackmail on the table is peeking my interest, the image being threatened right on target. I need to do some digging before I say to much. It may take a minute because I have to share this blind item with a few people to double check my facts. Good work Delila I am not sure how me and my fellow detectives missed this one. I think the dogs may have to come out after I get to the bottom of this blind item.

so I remember coming here last year when the rumors were buzzing and feeling crushed but still hopeful that they were just rumors. after lurking around here for a couple of hours it seems that people are pretty sure that it’s not.
and unfortunately i’m now sure too. found this on someone’s twitter page…don’t ask how I found it
but it is definitely pharrell pushing a stroller with some woman in BBC gear. I wish I could see the girl’s face better but oh well time will only tell.

Yeah this should be enough proof but like Number1Nerdy there will probably be some non-believers. I don’t know what it will take. But interesting that they are on tour with him as well. I’m surprised this had not been noticed on other dates, but maybe this was the first time. Interesting.

Looks like P’s been slipping. That’s great that Rocket’s on the road with him. Spend some quality father & son time. But I’m not impressed by the picture of some other dude picking up the baby.. Why can’t he do it himself?

We were pretty convinced over here that the blind item was him from the bits and pieces of information we have the part about blackmail. One of my friends said the girl in the picture is a nanny because that girl is clearly 3 feet taller than him and not the girl in the orange at the top of this article, i agree cause she does not look like his type at all. no maam.

You need to think logically and come out of your delusional state of mind!!!! who said she was a one night stand? that was a piece of information I missed, are you revealing something? we are thinking logically if you are extorting someone and carrying their child all of your demands will be met and if she demanded to come on tour then that is why she was there. I can come up with plenty of reasons she was on tour that have nothing to do with her demands like she is carrying his child and he wants to be involved regardless of the situation WTF you are delusional come into the real world, he is a real man that wants to be a part of his sons life! Delila, what makes you think that’s not her….being that she is a supposed model I would think logically that she was taller than Pharrell…..He definitely is more in the 5′7 5′8 range……not tall at all for a guy…..

Hola Muchachas!
I just recieved a big piece of information that I have to share with ya’ll!!!! I was told that muy, muy grande things are on the horizon for Mr. Willliams and Ms. Virginia from my two very reliable compadres (sources). I am being told that the MTO story from earlier this year, was not only factual as previously confirmed but also that Ms. Virginia is about to have the best holiday season ever! I am not sure if this means Thanksgiving, Christmas or New Years. One of my sources is saying once he begins his long awaited hiatus, which is after their shows are complete which may be as early as New Years 2010. Oh My God! She is so lucky! I will be back with updates as they pour in.
Oh and the Blind Item is still ongoing as far as confirming – some people disagree and others agree I am not sure if this is something that can ever truly be confirmed its a blind item its meant to confusing.Lol!!!

I just wanted to add:
I don’t know how good of a husband he will be because Pharrell wants to take over the world (well a good chunk).
I’ve never seen hiatus and his name in the same sentence. N.E.R.D/Pharrell has been on tour/doing shows since 2002 and this doesn’t include production projects, BBC/Ice Cream and whatever else he decides to add on his plate. Not saying its impossible…but just stating the obvious. He’s done good though, 36 with one kid and never married. Someone is his position back in the day would’ve had 6 kids and 3 wives by now, LOL!
For all we know he could be a married man already. Everything else has been private why would that be announced? Maybe Swizz Beatz & NORE can confirm or deny this too, LOL.

@ Ari everything that I am told does not make sense to me either, I am just telling ya’ll what was told to me. As far as telling information that some may consider private I only tell what is common knowledge. If you are still coming to this blog you must be interested in knowing or you wouldn’t be here in the first place. I love P and I am a fan of Nerd so I am interested in his personal life and most definately want information on any ladies involved from his exes to his currents – there should not be a problem with that, its a free country and he is a celebrity. I agree with you rox, P isn’t going to take a “hiatus” or slow down, I’m sure they are going to tour more when the album drops plus he has a new clothing line collaboration coming out, he has too much going on. And he said once they tour alot because people in the band have families and kids so he cares about making sure they are getting money too. If having a child didnt cause him to go on hiatus I dont really see anything that will. They probably just wont be touring anymore until the album comes out.
