First Luciana Barroso, Matt Damon’s wife gave birth. Then, Jennifer Garner admitted she was pregnant. Then Ricky Martin announced he was a new father to twin boys aaaaaaaaand… lastly, Gwen Stefani gave birth yesterday.
Good grief… I think it pregnancy is catching or something. I am scared that I may get pregnant from writing about all these knocked up celebrities… that is how one gets pregnant right?
Anyhoo… here are the details:
Melanie Chisholm, 34, and her partner of six years, Thomas Starr, confirmed the nappy news yesterday and said they are “delighted”.
A source close to the star said, yesterday: “Melanie is over the moon at the prospect of becoming a mum for the first time.
“The girls are so pleased for her and have said they’re only a phone call away to pass on any parenting tips.
“Melanie loved being around their kids on the band’s recent tour and is delighted she’s now one of the gang.” She said: “I love kids and one of the best bits about touring with the Spice Girls this time round was getting to know everyone’s babies. I’m sure that babies will be part of my future.”
A source close to the band said: “Everyone is chuffed for Melanie. She will be a great mum.”

I had just said to Tomas that the Celeb Baby Issue was a comin’ round the bend again – - the same crazy pregnant baby “news” started six? Seven? Years ago when Julia Roberts was pregnant.
That is when my old home town of Venice, California, went to hell – photogs everywhere, and suddenly everyone thought Venice was THE hip place to live – for those of us who were born and raised in Venice, it was
a) The wrong side of the tracks
and
b) affordable housing for basic working folks.
NO MORE – Photo’s of Julia Roberts in Venice pre-pregnancy, wearing a tee-shirt dissing the wife of the man Julia was determined to have, were taken in Venice.
I am certain you remember, it was all the scream back then.
And yep. everyone started getting pregnant after that.
Now it is Brad and Angie – if they get pregnant, all of Hollywood and London are pregnant also.
WEIRD?
