Why I Started This Blog:

Hi, I am the lost girl and I write TheLostGirl’s blog. I am a lost soul floating around in the world, who is embracing a new life since being freed from a couple of poisonous relationships. This website is a small pet project of mine that is acting as a welcome distraction in my increasingly erratic life.

My head is a little screwed up at the moment to be honest. Therefore, I am using this blog as a vent. It will focus on my thoughts and it will mainly be about the little things that interest me. I am using it as a way of finding my voice.

I admit that I am very rough around the edges in person (and on line), so please bear with me as I develop and grow. I hope this blog allows me to find my voice, express myself, connect with people, and one day become found. ;)

UPDATE – Where This Blog Is Today:

I am a great fan of two things; good music and good blogs. I have been experimenting for the last 5 years with different blog hosts and site ideas, as I have wanted for some time to be blogging alongside people I admire online. I read any number of entertainment, news, gossip, race related, film and other sites, on any given day. Anything you read on here is the most compelling or fun info I have found online from any one of say, 25 websites (saving you the time of doing so yourself).

Writing for the web is a medium in which I feel very comfortable. I am writing about what I know, for people just like me; those who want the latest news and gossip as, it happens. I have been writing on this blog since November. It has been labeled a fun personal take on mainstream entertainment, that has taken off really well in the last couple of months; even being linked to by the BBC website on two separate occasions, Entertainment Weekly’s PopWatch and even the LA Times Dish Rag!

This site will hopefully become established as a place for people to comment/ chat/ give thought provoking opinion and just hang out.

There is an archive of near 1,000 posts with something for everyone – dig around!

    Thank you for writing such sweet comments and for adding me to your blogroll. I have had a look around your site too. It’s really interesting and different. I’ll definitely be coming back to have a good old nose around and I’m adding you to my blog roll so my readers can do the same!

    Hi I’ve just been having a quick scan of some posts on your site. Wow you’ve done a lot of posts in 2 months!

    I just wanted to say that I like your style and I’ve stumbled you (I can’t believe noone’s stumbled you already!)

    Re checking stats every morning, night etc, loads of people do that, just ask on the BC discussion board (Blog Catalog).

    The site has been very fun and surprisingly therapeutic I find, that’s why I write so often :) . Thank you for taking up my invitation to have a look around my site, commenting, and for ‘Stumbling’ me.

    I have looked around your site also. The photos are really beautiful, I like that you let them speak for themselves, it’s really gutsy and different.
