Even more leaked random ridiculousness today – the Britney Spears ‘Womanizer’ cover art [Website - TheLostGirl’s Blog].

I thought I would at least try to find something to whet your appetite.

So, here is the cover art for the single – which a little birdie tells me is delayed as Britney’s team say it still needs editing work. The track will be released NEXT Monday, 29 Sept.

UPDATE – BreathHeavy says this is totally fan made! The pic (as a commenter, correctly pointed out) is Brit’s head on Tyra Banks body!

There is a veritable orgy of Photoshop going on in these images.

Some of the women are virtually unrecognisable, as they are so plastered in make up/airbrushed.

This may be one for the Epic Photoshop Hall of Fame, eh?

Kate Hudson’s W Cover Is Photoshop-licious

Kate Hudson is almost unrecognisable, as she is Photoshopped to within an inch of her life on the cover of the new W Magazine [Website - TheLostGirl's Blog].

Now, I don’t buy this magazine, but from that I have seen all their covers are hella airbrushed, right?

Anyway, the cover is not only a crime against Photoshop, but unoriginal too. PNasty points out that the image is a clone of a shot Nadja Auerman did for a vintage cover of Harper’s Bazaar.

A snippet of the interview she did *yawn* and her cover can be seen below.

On taking risks: “I have this personality—and there’s a downside to it too—but I have this thing where it’s like, okay, I’ve chosen to bungee jump off this ledge. I have to do it. And if the cord snaps, well, I might as well enjoy the ride down.”

On spending the “prime Hollywood partying years” of her early 80’s caring for her son, Ryder: “Am I gonna look back and say, God, I wish I could have gone to that… that… concert? I’d rather be listening to my son sing songs. I’d rather be watching him sleep.”

On keeping in touch with ex-husband Chris Robinson: “We iChat with Chris constantly. No matter what is going on in my life, relationship-wise, Chris takes absolute precedence. It’s important for Ryder to hear me say how wonderful Chris is, and how much Chris misses him.”

On exposing details of her dating life: “It’s so hard for me, because I’m so open, to hold back. I could really just go on forever about this stuff. We can talk about Chris till the dogs come home. I married Chris, I had a baby with Chris, Chris will be in my life for the rest of my life. But everything else—I’ve learned that things are better left private until you’re actually planning the wedding.”

What Is Up With The Gross ‘Girls Licking Blood’ Advertising?

The images below are only a sample of the latest gross trend… posters promoting movies etc. that show a close up of a girls face, licking blood [Website - TheLostGirl’s Blog].

The worst of the lot is the promotional poster for the 2009 flick ‘Red Sonja’, starring Rose McGowan.

Other (almost as gross) examples include the posters for ‘Jennifer’s Body’, starring Megan Fox and the HBO TV show, ‘True Blood’.

PNasty places the blame for the trend solely at the feet of the delectable Angelina Jolie (see the old image of Angelina, bottom right) and I concur.

See Blake Lively’s Epic-Photoshop-Fail ‘Seventeen’ Cover

Hahahah… BLAKE LIVELY (SERENA VAN DER WOODSON on Gossip Girl) is peed off with Seventeen Magazine, after the epic-photoshop-disaster they did on her, for their upcoming cover [Website - TheLostGirl’s Blog].

The admittedly very beautiful LIVELY was airbrushed beyond all recognition and to the point where the offending photo-shopper must have known what they were doing was all-kinds-of-wrong, but they just kept going anyway.

Her reps have been biotching about this and even the dreaded ’sources’ even have something to say:

“Her Vanity Fair and Cosmopolitan covers are great, but her camp is not thrilled about her Seventeen cover,” said one source. “Her rep felt the Seventeen photo looked nothing like Blake.” Lively’s flack confirmed she was not “over the moon” with Seventeen and called the magazine about it but claimed her client wasn’t behind the call – “Blake hasn’t even seen the shots yet,” said the rep.

Dove Evolution Advert – The Campaign For Unreal Beauty?

You. Must. Watch. The. Clip. Below.

It is a rather old, but amazing advert for Dove and their (probably PR bullsh*t-tastic) Real Beauty campaign [Website - TheLostGirl’s Blog].

The video and campaign are called ‘Dove Evolution’ and show all the tricks the beauty industry uses to deceive consumers into buying their products. The video is brief, but a definite must watch, if you ever felt duped into buying a product

I work in marketing and communications and even I, knowing what I know about products and marketing, couldn’t help but be impressed by the message the advert tried to relay.
