Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore are reportedly over their infatuation with Kabballah. They became somewhat bored with it all and have bowed out. The pair reportedly have not been seen at key meetings and events for some time, leading to rumours that they have given up the religion all together.
Ashton was once so devoted that he refused to take of his red-string during a film shoot, meaning the producers had to go and air-brush it out, post-production (to avoid turning off audiences). However, the tides have turned and Ashton was spotted out and about in Robertson Boulevard without it!
“Ashton and Demi used to have an impeccable attendance record,” says one source with close ties to the Kabballah Centre in L.A. Another source close to the couple says it’s been “months” since the two attended services or participated in the Shabbat dinner after Friday services.
Back in the day, the religion was trendy and everyone from Madonna to Britney Spears wanted to be associated. Now that some of the cool and celebrity kudos has worn off, the Church seems to be shedding members. Now I have to be honest, I spent quite a bit of time a few years back looking into the religion, what it meant and what it could do for me. I was going through a tough time at University and I guess I wanted answers. I will be both nice and honest and say, I actually agree with a sh*t load they talk about. Their teachings seem to make a lot of sense and they only score, like a three on the crazy-o-meter (compared to say a 9.5 for Scientology).
