No More New Singles From Janet Jackson?

JANET JACKSON is being dissed by her own record company [Website - TheLostGirl’s Blog].

Word is that Jackson’s label, Def Jam, and her are not seeing eye-to-eye. When asked what the new single from her album would be after ‘Feedback‘ and ‘Rock With U‘, JACKSON replied.

That’s pretty difficult to say, only because of the record label at this point. We started off with Feedback and the label and myself haven’t quite seen eye to eye since the Feedback single so they’ve kind of basically stopped all promotion. I’m trying to figure out a way to say this, but just to say it and to be quite honest, they just stopped all promotion whatsoever on the album so I don’t think you’re going to hear another single off this album.

Justin & Janet ‘Rock Your Body’ Super Bowl Edition- Music Rewind

While messing about on YouTube I managed to find this clip. I thought I would blow the dust off, and traumatize all those who missed it the first time round.

The NSFW clip below shows Justin Timberlake and Janet Jackson performing ‘Rock Your Body’ at the Super Bowl and their rather feeble ‘wardrobe malfunction’ (that judging by the cheering at the end, like 90% of the audience didn’t notice!) ROTFLMAO!!!

Seeing the artwork for Janet Jackson’s new single, ‘Feedback’, made me think of the duet she did with Busta Rhymes called ‘What’s It Gonna Be’. Must have been something to do with me being high or the futuristic styling of the image used I guess. Either way, I went back and found the video and wanted to share it for those who also loved the song.

I found this song by accident, and I am in two minds about whether I care about this woman and her ’singing’ or not. Granted she’s been doing this for a while, and she scrubbed up well for the release of the new song… but really, how many more whispered, slightly out of tune, mid-tempo ditty’s do we really need?

Regurgitated tripe, or worth the wait? You decide.
