My YouTube Heroes

Check out the amazing heartfelt cover of ‘The Sweetest Thing’, as sung by YouTuber MARIA BENTLY – a 23 year-old Brit [Website - TheLostGirl’s Blog].

As one YouTube commenter stated about her:

I still don’t understand how in the HELL you aren’t famous yet?!

*P.S. She sings so up and close to the camera as her mic is not to great. It helps with the sound quality or something.

Check out this amazing soulful cover of ‘Turn Your Lights Down Low’, as sung by 23 year-old British native YouTube singer Maria Bentley.

This is one of two singing vids on her channel, to check out her cover of ‘I Changed My Mind’, by Keyshia Cole, click HERE.

I am still looking for fun new channels on YouTube, and I found this girl on there… WOW!?! (giggles). Her YouTube channel is called ‘PrettyEliteDyme’, and she goes by the name of ‘Lexilex’.

She is freakin’ unreal. She rants about lots of personal things. She is funny and irreverent, yet she manages to get her point across… despite swearing like a muthaf*cka every 5 seconds (chuckles).

I started laughing half way through the first clip, not because she was being funny, but that was when I realised she was being serious!

This clip sees her cussing out guys who make fools of themselves flirting with her in the club. EXTREMELY NSFW due to her language!

In this clip she gives a hilarious, if overly descriptive account of her body image from the waist down (I’m being polite). NSFW language again.

Additional clip- I didn’t watch this clip at first, as it discusses MySpace.com. I am not on the site, and so did not think I would get her comments/ jokes. But trust me, you will get her stance on people stealing her identity and her photos and being something they are not while online.

She is randomly mega loud and sweary in this video… I’d turn your volume down a bit if I was you.

I found this amazing vocalist online, while watching videos from some of the subscribers to my favourite YouTube channels. Her name is Jayne Rio, and she is listed as a musician.

Janye has a her own channel on the site, with handful of videos where she sings and talks about her life.

The video below is her singing ‘No One’ by Alicia Keys. She says she is singing this song to mark the fact that she spent Thanksgiving alone in her house.

This girl is ridiculously pretty and seems to have the voice and personality to boot. She’s gonna be a star!

While looking for funny clips to add to my ‘CraigsList Poster Might Be An Ars*hole’ post, I accidentally found some clips by SameGirl.

This girl is hilarious, all attitude and humour. She talks about herself and essentially the things that p*ss her off. She cusses out guys who try to chat her up, as well as jealous women who attack her through the internet.

My new favourite posts are below:

Insulting guys who may or may not be able to read/ brags about being the girl that R Kelly & Usher sang the song ‘Same Girl’ about (yes, REALLY)…

She talks about her friend not being so wise staying with a shady guy…

Rants about mens deal with babies…

She is also rather pleased that she doesn’t have to buy drug store hair!

Actually the title should be ‘Craigslist poster who essentially wrote an open letter to their bootycall is DEFINATELY an ars*hole!’

The post reads as follows:

Dear Booty Call:

We have an animal attraction. If I happen to want some good sex, I’ll call you. Sometimes you’re free, sometimes not. Sometimes you call me. Sometimes I’m free, sometimes I’m not. You are good in bed; we are good in bed together. The only irritating thing in this otherwise perfect arrangement is that big fat ego of yours. While you have made it clear that you do not want a relationship, you reeeeealllly don’t seem to buy the fact that I’m not emotionally attached to you. You are puzzled that I don’t call you more often, and even more shocked when I don’t want to spend the whole night together. Get over it. A few reasons why this is:

1. I CONSIDER YOU A PIECE OF MEAT. Know how you just want to fuck? Yep, that’s right…I just want to fuck too. I know you think you are god’s gift and the smartest person alive, but you are not. The bonus of a booty call? Less talking. More fucking.

2. Personally, I don’t really like you. You aren’t that interesting, or very nice. You are good looking and have good *assets*. Perfect for what I need you for. Done deal.

2. I like my space. I like it better with only me in it.

3. My bed is fucking awesome, and I don’t like to share. Especially with someone who snores, steals the covers, and sweats profusely. Don’t get me wrong – a little sleep sweat is fine. Enough sweat to cover us both AND make me think you pissed on the sheets? Not acceptable. Please exit the premises when activities have come to a full and complete stop.

FYI – If I wanted a relationship, I would stop sleeping with you and find someone I can actually tolerate outside of the bedroom.

Sincerely,

Your fuck buddy

And for those of you who are unfamiliar with the concept, I’ll leave TheSameGirl to explain in more detail…
